Glasgow-based, alt-pop duo Bossy Love released their highly-anticipated, debut album, ME + U in November, and saw it selected by the Guardian in their list of Best Albums 2019. The two lead singles - Foreign Lover and title track Me + U - have been reworked by some of the band’s favourite producers.

> Fellow Glasgow-resident NIGHTWAVE signed the band’s debut single “Want Some” to her label Heka Trax in 2017, which was re-recorded for the album. Her version of Me + U is a stripped back and emotionally charged remix, inspired by the energy at her favourite (now closed) London club, Plastic People.

> London producer SNØW, one half of Jus Now and co-founder of More Time Records, comes through with a peak-time, gritty 126 bpm club-ready roller.

> Gerard Black aka BABE frontman and guest vocalist on Foreign Lover, has delivered a wobbly, menacing slow-build, featuring all-analogue gear swirls.

> And finally, Bossy Love’s own BAILLIE JNR gives us two remixes. First up is a self-named “Stringapella”; a DJ tool featuring the string arrangement from Me + U; all textured toppling high-drama, with avant guard scraping and slides influenced by Lutoslawski and Scott Walker. Whereas on Foreign Lover, he took the Arp Odyssey from the original version, gave it some steroids, took it to the gym and then hit the club.
